Quickload Waterfowl Outfitters is located in Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan, CANADA; in the midst of the Mississippi and Central Flyways and also feeds into some of the Pacific Flyways. Edmonton Hotel Accommodations

I have come to realize that we have some clients that may be flying in a day earlier or departing a day later from their hunt dates (thank you for letting me know this!).  I wanted to provide a few hotel accommodation suggestions for you as you book your hotels.  Note: I do not know if any hotel has a hunter rate, I have just collected this info off of the internet.  

NISKU INN

In the past many hunters have stayed at the Nisku Inn.  In the past they have had a walk in freezer available to put your coolers in if you are taking meat home.  I do not know if that is still the case.

Summer Is Coming to an End

It is hard to believe that Summer has flown by and is coming to an end.  We were lucky to spend 3 weeks at the lake this summer and just got back yesterday.  The weather has been great and the rain has been plentiful.  Now that we have vacationed away, we are home and busy getting ready for a very busy Fall!  We are so excited to have a full calendar of clients this year - thank you!  We are looking forward to serving you this Fall as you enjoy our hunts with Quickload Waterfowl Outfitters and your "Hunt of a Lifetime".

We have a great team working alongside us this year!  We are very excited to have Paul Crawford coming back to his second home (us :) ) from California.  As well, Bob Parkinson will continue to be the familiar face for pickup and drop off at the airport.  Alton and Debbie MacKay and Brian Nickerson are joining us once again from the East Coast.  New this year, we are welcoming Jule Plu.  We are excited to have her join our family from Germany for a year.

Important Items to Take Note Of

Beverage Service  

A reminder that Quickload Waterfowl Outfitters does not provide liquor service for purchase at the lodge.  Instead, our driver will stop a local liquor store for you to make your own liquor purchases.  We will still have available complimentary ice, pop and juice.  

What to Pack

Being that I have no clue what the weather is really going to entail, I recommend bringing warm and cool clothing.  We have had a few inquiries into chest waders: feel free to leave those at home.  We seldom do any pond hunts anymore, so we don't feel it is necessary for you to bring them.  As well, if you prefer to wear shoes indoors, please bring an extra set of shoes that are specifically designated to wear inside the lodge.  We ask that no outdoor shoes be worn inside the lodge.  Thank you for your understanding.  

Bird Processing

Please advise us ahead of time if you plan on taking home any waterfowl meat so that we can plan accordingly.  We are planning on doing our bird processing the same as last year, therefore, this is a major piece of knowledge that we need to know.  Please email me to let us know: quickloadwaterfowloutfitters@gmail.com.
